A Quiet Room by the Shore (www.aquietroom.co.uk) is located on the ground and the 1st floor of a modern building on a secluded, but easily accessible street in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Leith.
Professional home to an expanding team of practitioners (Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Clinical Psychologists and Hypnotherapists), A Quiet Room by the Shore provides space to both established and emerging mental health professionals.
Our five consulting rooms have been created specifically with ‘talking therapies’ in mind. Individual rooms are professionally soundproofed with floor to ceiling frosted windows. Each space is light and airy with interiors finished to a very high standard, using a mixture of soothing colours and textures.
In addition, we have a large, wonderfully bright, and comfortable multi-function room. This is ideal for group work, seminars and workshops, but also serves as a social space for our practitioners and a home for a small, but growing reference library of relevant literature.
